Light Them Up centres around a paranoid schizophrenic, convinced that he is being watched and hunted. Aware of his madness and yet believing the voices invading his thoughts, he feels the only solution to find peace is to detonate explosives as 'they' close in on his location, blowing himself up and taking the 'hunters' with him.

I don’t know how I’m alive. They hunt me down. I’m feeling like a deer that’s in their sights. Here I sit alone, I lay in wait. They say it’s in my mind but their eyes are on me, I can feel them. They won’t have me alive without a fight, I’m gonna light them up.
Leave me alone. You invade my mind. Try to pry me open. Feeding my fear inside. Call me crazy. I feel so alone and anything could happen. I’m clinging to life here.
